Ride A Pet Egg Locations: Giant Tree and Waterfall Searches

Start behind Sell for the Giant Tree, or behind Track for the river leading to the waterfall cave. Pro Game Guides identifies both areas as places to search for Cherub and Blackhole Eggs.¹

These landmarks tell you where to look, not that an egg is waiting there. Check the current egg list and any radar guidance before committing to one search.

Before taking either route

Make space in Egg Basket, mount a pet you can control, and locate your own ranch marker. Choose one branch rather than switching between distant targets mid-run.²

For a first visit, learn the entrance and the way back before collecting anything. At a climb or cave passage, confirm you can reverse the approach with your current pet. That gives you a return plan before a carry warning starts.³

Search A: Sell Shop to the Giant Tree

Approach: Start at the Sell Shop, go behind it, and continue toward the Giant Tree. Use the tree itself as the landmark rather than inventing a compass direction from a screenshot.¹

Look for the egg: The published search spots are the small room near the top and two branches sitting slightly below the upper branches. Reach only the spots your current movement setup can access. Stop at a stable position and inspect the egg's label before attempting pickup.¹

If you can reach the trunk but not the upper area, save this search for another attempt. Check your current target elsewhere rather than spending a carried egg's timer learning a climb.

Suggested return: Before pickup, identify the descent you will use. After the egg enters your basket, retrace that checked path down, head back toward Sell, and follow your own ranch marker. Avoid an unfamiliar drop as a shortcut.

Search B: Track Shop to the waterfall cave

Approach: Go behind Track to the river, then follow it upstream to the waterfall. The cave entrance is behind the falls.¹

Look for the egg: Enter only as far as you can keep track of the way out. Use the current target guidance to inspect accessible ground and recesses; check the object's name before collecting. If a marker points beyond a passage you cannot navigate, scout that section without carrying an egg first.⁴

Suggested return: Retrace your checked approach to the waterfall entrance. Follow the river downstream toward the point where you came from Track, then return through the shop area to your ranch. This plan uses the entrance you learned, not an assumed shortcut through the cave's far end.

Empty spot, full basket, or ticking warning?

Nothing at the search spot: recheck the current target. Move on when the egg is no longer available; a previous screenshot does not reserve it for you.

Full basket: return with the egg you already have.

Egg Will Break warning: end the search and follow your prepared return. At home, continue to the hatch interaction, rather than assuming crossing a boundary completed delivery.²
